The Riviera Tower, designed by Foster + Partners, is set to become the tallest building in Greece, standing at 200 meters. Located on the coastal front of the landmark Hellinikon regeneration project, it willhouse ~170 high-end residential units across 50 floors. The tower represents a new benchmark for sustainable vertical living in Athens, unobstructed sea views, and world-class amenities. The project has a LEED Gold certification, reinforcing its commitment to environmental performance and innovation.

‍Design Stage:

EB/Architects joined the project team in collaboration with A.N. Tombazis & Associates Architects, the appointed Local Architect. EB/Architects were responsible for delivering all architectural services for the Construction Design Set Stage, using BIM. The scope included the development of coordinated architectural BIM models and the export of 2D documentation (DWG and PDF formats). We integrated interior design input from the Lead Designer, as well as incorporated Value Engineering inputs, adjusting and documenting revisions to maintain alignment with design objectives and cost targets. EB/Architects led the coordination of architectural models with structural, MEP, interior, and landscape consultants, and implemented BIM-based clashdetection to ensure alignment prior to construction.

‍Construction Stage:

‍In the Construction Stage, EB/Architects continued supporting the project through the submission of Issued for Construction (IFC) drawings and architectural coordination. We incorporated the Employer’s revised unit mix and updated tiering strategy into the documentation andensured coordination with all engineering and design disciplines. Additionally, our team provided ongoing support for site needs, responding to RFIs and facilitating the resolution of design-related issues during construction. EB/Architects brought structure, clarity, and coordination to one of the most complex packages in the Hellinikon development. We delivered over 1,000 architectural drawings, organized through a tailored drawing system that enabled quick navigation and ease of use for all project stakeholders. To ensure smooth collaboration across teams, we developed a targeted clash detection process that prioritized critical issues and streamlined resolution. This was paired with an interactive Power BI dashboard, giving the wider team real-time visibility over coordination progress and helping maintain momentum in a fast-paced delivery environment.
